Day 69—Panic

I’m in love with Aaron Fisher’s Panic. It’s a fantastic effect, and it’s so damn visual. In this video you’ll also hear some instrumental beats provided with permission by MC Lars. It never hurts to ask questions, kids. Enjoy!

Fun effect by Jay Sankey based on such a solid premise and question.

Day 65—BLED 2.0

I’ve loved Tony Chang’s variation on the Pugh/Pudge Pass and after watching Jay Sankey’s “Outsider”, thought that the move could work really well in a color changing deck effect. Here’s BLED 2.0 Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Day 64—Spontaneous Combustion

My performance of one of another of Jay Sankey’s effects in which a playing card spontaneously combusts. A really fun, weird, and offbeat effect.

Day 63—Reincarnation

Really fun effect I created last night and filmed today. I think all that Diet Mountain Dew, Mass Effect 3, and Jay Sankey have been paying off! I always thought Torn & Restored effects were kinda lame because you aren’t quite left clean. This effect, however, leaves you plausibly and contextually clean.
